SBCGlobal Email Settings - ATT & Sbcglobal.net IMAP, POP3, SMTP Settings 2019
You will need IMAP and SMTP setting as shown below to access your
SBCGlobal Net Email Settings from a desktop email desktop program:

Follow the below steps to setup your email-account.
- Touch Apps > Settings > Under Accounts touch +Add account
- Touch Email
- Enter the username and password.
You can also setup your account manually by following these steps:

- Touch Next
- Enter SMTP server - smtp.att.yahoo.com or smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
- Enter Port - 465 or 587
- Enter your username
- Enter your password
- Touch Next
How to set up Outlook for SBCGlobal
Pop: pop.att.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 995
SMTP: smtp.att.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 465 / 587.
Make sure that you also have in the Outgoing server tab, that "My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication." is checked, and that "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server is tick.

Incoming mail server: pop.att.yahoo.com or pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server: smtp.att.yahoo.com or smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
Then keep the ports mentioned above: 995
And 465 or 587
- Open Outlook Express.
- Select File.
- Select Account Settings.
- Select the email account to update.
- In Internet Email Settings verify that: a)You have POP3 or IMAP selected. b)Your User Name and Password are correct.
- Enter the following:
a) For POP3 accounts, enter inbound.att.net for the Incoming mail server and outbound.att.net for the Outgoing mail server.
b) For IMAP accounts, enter imap.mail.att.net for the Incoming mail server, and smtp.mail.att.net for the Outgoing mail server.
- Select More Settings.
- Select the Outgoing Server tab.
- Verify the following:
a) My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked.
b) Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Enter the following:
a) For POP3 accounts, the Incoming server (POP3) is port 995, the checkbox for this server requires a secure connection (SSL) is selected, and the Outgoing server (SMTP) is port 465.
b) For IMAP accounts, the Incoming server (IMAP) is port 993, the checkbox for this server requires a secure connection (SSL) is selected, and the Outgoing server (SMTP) is port 465 or 587
- Select OK.
- On the Internet E-mail Settings window, select next.
- Select Finish

ATT Email Updater
Selects Launch the AT&T E-mail Updater, to begin the automated process.
Once they run the tool, the POP and SMTP server settings update with the correct server settings listed below.
POP Server: inbound.att.net
SMTP Server: outbound.att.net (requires authentication)
Mail Ports: Incoming Mail Port #995: SSL Checked; Outgoing Mail Port #465: SSL Checked
SBCGlobal.net POP3 and IMAP email settings
Your desktop email program or mobile email app will use either POP3 or IMAP to send and receive email. Make sure to use the correct server and port settings.
These settings are good for email addresses with any of these domains: @ameritech.net, @att.net, @bellsouth.net, @flash.net, @nvbell.net, @pacbell.net, prodigy.net, @sbcglobal.net, @snet.net, @swbell.net, or @wans.net.
