How to configure RoadRunner email settings for Android

The RoadRunner email is a Time Warner Cable internet service provider email service. So, if you are a Time Warner Cable ISP customer then there are chances that you have been given a RoadRunner email account. You can use it as an email service via your browser or email app.

Note: - these steps have been updated for Android 5 and above.

1. Go to your Android device’s Menu and Launch the Email app.
2. Now you will be asked to enter your roadrunner email address. Enter it.
3. And then select Personal (POP3) and then tap on Next.
4. Type your roadrunner password and then tap on Next.
5. Now you will require to enter Incoming server settings. Enter the following information for incoming server setting:

• Type your full email address with @rr.com in Username and your roadrunner password in the Password field.
• Enter server: pop-server.maine.rr.com. Select 110 from the port.
• And select None as security type. Tap Next when done.

   6. Now enter the following data for Outgoing server settings:

• Enter smtp-server.maine.rr.com as server.
• Select 587 from port. And security type None.
• Check the box Require sign in.
• Enter your full email as username including @rr.com and password.

   7. Then tap on Next and then Next again.

   8. Now, type a name in your Name field. This is the name people will see when you send emails to them.

   9. Tap Next.
